Finally got my Camaro to the track results inside! - 02-15-2009, 11:51 PM
Well like the title says I finally found enough time to get to the track today and make a couple of shakedown passes. The first pass off the trailer was a 6.97@107.6 off of idle w/ a 1.69 60'. After that I knew it would end up being a good day. This is the first time I have ever ran a car with an auto in it or using a trans brake as well (I absolutely love it). I still need to work on my launch rpm and the anti lag feature on the Lingenfelter launch control but a 3600 launch rpm netted me a 1.46 60' on the last pass of the day in the video below!

If anyone is interested the car is on a completely stock block with patriot stage 2 heads (59cc) and TSP T.V.3 cam and tuned on E85 w/ 7 psi. The h/c set up is obviously not ideal for a turbo but it is gonna get the job done untill the new motor goes in. Car weighs 3490 w/ me if you're wondering!

very nice! You've certainly had a very nice lineup of fast cars. Which car do you seem to like the most?

Yeah i didn't realize who you were either!

Thanks guys I am pretty pleased with the results so far. I was talking to the guy that built my converter and tranny and I know some how I've got to get the boost to come in much sooner/harder on the line! Hopefully on a perfect pass 6.50's are in her!

To the post above about which car did I like the most. So far I will honestly have to say although no the quickest of the bunch but my Whippled 03 Cobra I miss the most. IMO it was a sexy ass car with great comfort and monster power/torque at any given rpm! The vette definately got a lot more attention which had its ups and downs as well! But now I am gearing this build more towards a very reliable and streetable low nine second car, we shall see!

Awsome Bro......that thing is moving for sure.......thats the one thing I love about auto's....really fun at the track! Great times.......can't wait to see how much more you can squeeze out of her..........107 in the 1/8th is very impressive!
