Wow, looks like someone pulled the pin on a hand grenade in that oil pan! I'm sure it won't be long before that thing is back up and meaner than ever. Glad the situation wasn't any worse, and everybody came out unscathed. From the looks of things today, it just pruned out a few weak parts to make room for better stuff.

I hope the heads are ok so you can at least sell them if you're going with something bigger next time. BTW, how did it go on the dyno Saturday?
All outta hotrods, lol...

You didn't even get the bad side! Hopefully the heads are good, I don't know exactly what I'm gonna do with the new engine, but we may as well go all out. It dynoed 547 rwhp I believe, not sure on the torque, but it was still in the 400's. That 4400 stall killed its dyno numbers.

who cares about the heads, you said you have a 6.0 block right? Throw some AFR 225 big bore heads on that thing with a mild cam.

Hopefully I can sell the heads that are on it. I don't know what heads I'll go with yet, but they won't have little toy 1.290 valve springs. Would you consider a .700" lift solid roller mild?

I was going to ask you that next. My next motor will most likely be a solid roller, but I am still having fun with the 346. If you are going to try and run a wild cam and make it a high winder I would consider an ETP head. I know a few 383's that are running 240/246 solid roller with less than 0.650 lift that make 540 hp n/a at 6400 and carry it out, but thats also on tame compression and a smaller intake runner head. What power goal are you going to try and reach?
