Thanks guys and yes this is definately getting me anxious to crank the boost up some, but I'll have to wait until the forged motor goes in!

Exploder: IMO after running the car at the track the only place I will ever miss changing gears is maybe on the street playing around but on the track the auto is the only way to go!

im sure the car wont see that much street action though so it wont matter......im trying to get my build finished by april, got everything i need except a few small things

then hopefully we can all get out to a track.......when you going to do the big motor ???

I was supposed to but the company that sponsors my brother's race car wasn't able to get me signed up in time, so I'll just be watching. I was really wanting it though because this thing is going to shine in the 1/4!

Yeah every now and then I have to go check out my streetfire video of my in car vette speedo shot just to remind myself that I can still hit the gears if I need to LOL!

on a turbo car it does matter, with a manual you loose boost on every shift.

been there done that. I made every pass in my car with the 6 speed with my right foot planted to the floor and slamming the hell out of the shifter, and when I would look at my HP TUners log of the pass you could see the boost drop by at least 50% on every shift, this was with a t67 q trim turbo that spooled stupid quick on stock cubic inches.

Thanks man. BTW if I get too bored of the auto I will gladly drive someones manually shifter car for them at the track. Of course after you sign my release form that is
