298ci 5.0L modular Stroker aluminum shortblock (4.6L based engine)
-- Fully assembled and ready to drop in! --
$4699 Internet Special
Built by Shrader Performance in Gastonia, NC with the best of everything, this shortblock is ready to handle up to 800 hp with ease. Designed for 2v Heads for boosted applications, yields 9.2:1 Compression when using Trickflow 44cc heads. Would be 9.4:1 with stock 2v heads, or 9.0:1 with ported 46cc PI heads. Will also work with 4v heads but Comp Ratio would be a low 8.4:1.
This engine is built with maximum performance in mind. If you need something to hold up to big boost, this is your engine. With the lightweight aluminum block, you drop over 80 lbs from using an iron block. All clearances, torque readings, and specs are painstakingly laid out and no detail goes unnoticed.
This is one of the very last 3.75” stroke crankshafts due to the massive shortage at Kellogg. The 3.75" crank is the most desirable due to its rod/stroke ratio. This is a rare item you cannot find elsewhere right now.

New Ford Racing aluminum block, fully deburred and machined,
